Hi, today i ordered the yarn for the new project.
It's cashmere/silk in dark grey, my first order at Hamburger Wollfabrik. I plan to knit a V-neck sweater for Lotta. The design will be my own, like last years turtle neck cable sweater was designed by me. So I'll keep you up to date with my trials and errors.

Today my elder daughter went shopping with a girl friend. When we met again this evening she showed a bag she bought in "American Apparel Vintage Store" in Cologne. And we discussed about naming tricks. As a third daughter in a family I always heart nice comments at school: Isn't that your sister's sweater. So I'm allergic against "second hand" even if you call it Vintage. My daughters are for that reason some of the best dressed girls in town, just teasing, but there are some swedish shops with good clothes and by and by a named shirt or blue jeans.

Still there is nothing on the needles, but today I sorted out some widows and orphens - id est: small rests of yarn - because I'm not the type of knitting woman who makes balls, rest afghans or monster socks. No, I realized that solid colours or only slightly mixed coloured yarns are more friendly for my eyes and even better for the purpose of pattern.
So enjoy your time whereever you are. In Germany autumn is cold and rainy but we had a beautiful and quiet first week of holidays with lots of reading, Sauna and swimming, some shopping, sleeping till short before lunch time - just teasing - waking up at 9.00 a.m is a long night for me.
